Registration
You will find the registration desk in the lobby of the hotel. You can register for the Summit on Monday morning 17th of May between 09:00 — 11:00.

Upon registration you will receive your final personalized itinerary for this event, the conference booklet containing the event programme, speaker and solution partner information and a name badge.

Admittance to all sessions throughout the business summit will be by name badge only. Participants are required to wear their name badge at all times for both security purposes and the service of refreshments as well as all meals.

For the duration of the event, there will be an information desk that you can contact in the Foyer for any queries you might have.

Accommodation
Endeavour Events has reserved a Deluxe room for you at the Ramada Plaza Antwerp for Monday night 17th of May 2010. This room is for single occupancy and includes taxes, an exclusive breakfast buffet and access to the SPA area.

Check in time in the hotel is 15:00. If you arrive earlier and your room is not ready yet, the concierge of the hotel is more than happy to store your luggage.
Check out time is before 12:00 on Tuesday 18th of May 2010.
Please make sure before you leave the hotel, that you settle your personal account for any additional expenses outside the room cost that Endeavour Events covers for the night of the 17th of May.

Stay an extra night in the hotel...
If you would like to stay an extra night in the hotel, for example if you would like to arrive on Sunday evening to make sure you are in time for the first Key-note presentation and enjoy a nice evening in Antwerp, we can offer you the very special rate of EUR 90,00 for Sunday night 16th of May for a single room, including breakfast and taxes.

To make a reservation for an extra night before or after the event, please fill out the details in the 'Extra night' section in the Travel Form, that will be send to you before the summit, including your credit card details (without these details it is not possible to make a reservation). All reservations are subject to availability.

Of course you can also check the hotel website www.ramadaplaza-antwerp.com, they might offer better rates on their website for hotel rooms. If you book an extra night directly with the hotel, please inform Endeavour Events, so they can make sure you keep the same room during your stay.

For the extra night, you may cancel your reservation up to 1 week prior to your arrival without any financial consequences. If you cancel within less than a week prior to your arrival, you might be charged 100% of the reserved value.

Internet facilities in the hotel
In the public areas of the hotel and in the bedrooms, there is wireless internet available. The wireless internet is included in the roomrate.

Meals
All the meals, as described in the programme, like the coffee breaks, lunches, welcome reception and dinner are included in your registration and complimentary.

If you have any special dietary requirements, please indicate this on the Travel Form, that will be send to you closer to the event, to enable us to make the necessary arrangements for your meals.

Dress code - the dress code for this event is business attire.

Official language - the official language of the GovIT 2010 Summit is English. Please note there will be no simultaneous interpretation or translation.

Transport - to and from the hotel
The Ramada Plaza Antwerp hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the business district. The motorways to Brussels, the coast, Germany and the Netherlands are close by, thus making the Ramada Plaza Antwerp easily accessible. The hotel is approximately 40 km or a 25-minute drive from Brussels Airport, depending on traffic.

From Brussels Airport:
Taxi - You can take a taxi from Brussels International Airport to the hotel in Antwerp. You can book a taxi online for a fixed rate of EUR 62,00. For more information and to make a reservation go to www.antwerp-tax.be or www.metropole.be.

Bus - You can take the Airport Express, from the airport to Antwerp South, where it stops in front of the hotel Crown Plaza. From there it is a 7-minute walk to the Ramada Plaza. The bus departs every hour on the hour from the airport, the trip takes approximately 45 minutes and the ticket for one way is EUR 10,00, which you can purchase from the bus driver. The airport bus station is situated below Arrivals hall and can be accessed by escalators and lifts, follow the sign . Please make sure you mention to the bus driver you would like to get off at the stop 'Antwerp South'. For more information please visit www.airportexpress.be.

Train - The trainstation is located below the terminal (basement level-1). Up to 4 trains an hour connect to Brussels North (which takes 15 minutes), where you can change trains to Antwerp Central Station (which takes less than 40 minutes). From the trainstation - Antwerp Central to the Hotel:
If you are arriving by train or bus at Antwerp Central Station on the Koningin Astridplein, you can take the Tram 2, Direction Hoboken. You get out at the stop Singel, which is at the Jan Van Rijswijcklaan. You have to cross the road and you will see a glass-building called -Vvium-, behind this building you will find Ramada Plaza Antwerp. A tram ticket is EUR 1,20.

By car: If you will be arriving by car, for directions please visit Google Maps. The hotel address is Desguinlei 94, Antwerp. If you use TomTom as a navigation system, it will direct you to the wrong address. You will arrive here, instead of at the hotel. If you can enter GPS Coordinates, the location details are: Latitude 51.194151 Longitude 4.406054.

Parking: There is limited parking space within the hotel available which unfortunately cannot be reserved. The costs for parking in the hotel is 10 EUR per day. In case there is no space, there is free parking at the Gerard Le Grellelaan, which is only a few minutes walking distance from the hotel.
